Studio Family Session, Vancouver BC - Mona + Rylan
Iâve had the privilege of following Mona and Rylan through their journey together - from their engagement session, to their wedding, to their maternity session, and now with their newborn. Itâs an incredible honor to document these big milestones for my couples and watch how their love grows and evolves.
This studio session may have been one of my favourites to date (I know I say that a lot, but this one was truly magical!). When they came to my studio, baby Luca looked absolutely adorable in his little jumpsuit and socks that matched the studio dÊcor! Not to mention those big beautiful eyes can make anyoneâs heart melt.
We captured the most precious moment of Luca looking up at Rylan, and then we got a shot of Luca pulling Monaâs hair out while screaming. Clearly Rylan is his favouriteâĻ (joking). There was sunlight streaming in, which created some cool shadows in the background. While those shots were minimal, they really created a beautiful contrast in the scene.
We had the perfect formula for the ideal shoot: cool family + cool light = cool photos (which also = my favourite photos).
