Neon Lights Engagement Session in Downtown Vancouver, BC - Taylor + Ben

Anyone who knows me (or follows my personal Instagram account) knows that I love neon lights. So when Taylor and Ben pitched their idea for a night time engagement session that revolves around neon lights, I was beyond thrilled! We ventured out to the Granville Strip in Downtown Vancouver and searched for as many lights as we could, hitting up some store fronts, exploring the strip. These two also planned the best outfits for the shoot too, giving off some vintage / Wes Anderson vibes. Taylor and Ben are actually actors and producers, and we met years ago when a mutual friend connected me to shoot their theater production promos. We’ve been friends ever since and I am so honored that they chose me to document their engagement photos! I couldn’t be happier to create these images for them and with how they turned out, I am so proud of these and I can’t think of a more fitting pair for a shoot like this. Night time sessions are becoming one of my favourite things to shoot, the challenge of finding interesting light sources is adrenaline pinching for me and I love the cinematic feel to the photos! Anyone want to hire me for a neon light wedding? Or maybe I’ll just have to have one myself…
